Randi Mackey » Memories Unlocked

This was such a fun piece to do because it brought up all kinds of memories of living on the farm in Westfield, Iowa.  Climbing where we shouldn't climb, jumping into the bins of oats or corn (Now we know how dangerous that is!) and long walks by the pond, or just sitting in the barn and playing with the cats, feeling hidden away to have some 'me time.'

This piece won a blue ribbon at the Plymouth County Fair in Le Mars, Ia; a blue and Outstanding Work ribbons at the Clay County Fair in Spencer, Iowa, 2015.
