Randi Mackey » A Moment in Beauty

My hibiscus tree bloomed all but 4 days inside my house this winter.  Every morning that I was greeted with a large blossom, it made me smile. This particular blossom was backlit by the sunlight streaming through the patio door.  I painted this originally with a green background, found also on this site.  I put that on the computer and started playing with light and came up with this.  So I had to paint the hibiscus blossom a second time to reflect the change lighting made.  I now have 2 very large blossom paintings for sale.
