I hope you enjoy my ramblings about the inspiration for my artwork and the process it takes to create it. This is the subject of the first Colored Pencil Workshop for Fine Art that I instructed. I look forward to doing many more. The drawing was completed on Stonehenge White 100 lb paper. We used many layers of blues, reds, greens, white, yellows to accomplish the shadows and highlights in the drawing. You can see my notes along the right side of this drawing so I could use them in the written instructions.
